Thanks D1cker1. Trying to keep that old school look so I won't be doing prerunner bumpers.

I'll be keeping the oem front bumper with a small light bar holding 5 6" KC old school style lights that are converted to HID and a stealthy front skid plate. The rear bumper will be an oem original.

While I was away from the internet for the weekend (sit behind this glowing box all week so I'm over it on the weekends) it seems everyone else answered pretty much what I would say Chris.
My question would be - what makes you think a cage would kill your want to drive the thing? Just sound or what? I can't think of anything else aside from the POSSIBLE added pain of getting in and out around door bars - but once you're in you don't have to deal with that again til getting out.

Naw - the proof is in it not being done. Doing it the right way takes a LOT longer - or costs a lot more. Depending on which route you go.

Chris, any updates? I think as capable as this thing is going to be......it HAS to be caged. Both for your safety (I followed you testing Vic's, remember? haha) and the longevity of your favorite body style of Bronco. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

No decision yet Andy. I have a few more weeks and Mark has a lot to work on. Custom belly pan, skid plate, larger fuel cell, front light bar on OEM bumper. Then I can focus on the interior. Still not completely sold on the cage. Not because I don't think it would help the vehicle or that I would benefit. Like I mentioned I want to start on the build for stretching my red Bronco. I'd rather put the cage cash into that vehicle but again still on the fence. If I do the cage on this ride that just means I'll back up the stretch Bronco build.

It made a real good argument for a cage Tom, that's for sure.
