But it shouldn't matter - you should be updating to 92-96 anyways

Welcome to the site Carlos, nice bronco, the more time I spend on here the more I want to build something similar to yours. Stay with the 83 front it's going to get harder to come by a clean one soon.

updates are so sloooooow!
i wanted it ready by the B500 so. it wasn't , so I had to hitch a ride last weekend..oh well

back to the thread:

i am done with the wiring and started installing the gauges into the fiberglass dashboard...

i removed all the stock wiring in my dash (not really much of it.. this is a 83 bronco custom...no EFI....and the wimpy DuraFart III Controller went away in '99)

from this:

to this
(driver's side view:)

now, the dash looks not su bad with the gauges:

another shot:

I am ready to order my limit straps and extended brake lines.

sooo i lifted it to check the droop.....

here's the rear droop:

here's the front:

finally i am having a hard time figuring the best way to mount the spare tire.

Flat on the floor looks the best. but i will loose all my cargo floor

Image

vertical facing the rear frees up some space, but i will loose rear view (i dont have a rear view mirror since 2001)

Image

what do you guys think?

oh well... i will figure it out

i will post updates as soon as they happen
