That might not be a large enough steering cooler. We finally had to go with a medium sized trans cooler.

Got to put on a few dirt miles this weekend. Had a great time. Need more! The go fast was cut short by a miss that started on the way out there. It got worse as the day went on. Haven't got it figured out just yet. Coincidentally, the #3 primary tube blew out and had a terrible leak. I thought that was the problem, but no change after clearing codes and welding it up. The only code it's displaying is P1101, which is MAF sensor. May need to replace it, but not certain.

Thanks to tcmglx for this shot in a fun whoop section...

Gusseted up the Griswold rack and it performed flawless through the rough. Who needs fancy shmancy uber fabbermacated baller stuff? Pfghhh! Bronco rides like a dream with the extra weight behind the axle. Thinking a permanent mount may be in order.

Yikes,

Not sure if you ever picked up the Lowrance HDS7m but can you tell me why you wanted that model? I have a chance to pick one up but I know nothing about gps systems.

I ended up with an HDS8. Couldn't pass up the deal. Seven was a price point thing. Screen size is way more than an inch different between the 7 and 8.

After a couple years of beatings the CV let loose in the rear shaft. Really pleased with the overall reliability I've been getting out of it though. Once I got it strapped up another inch, no more u-joint failures. Woohooo! That being said, just replaced the driveshaft with a unit from CJ Tatton. Great shaft for the money. $260 shipped!! Second time I've used him and will be my go to from here on out. Ordered up a new cv ball and will rebuild the old shaft for another spare.

I think you can get a couple more degrees with 1350s. At least that's what I recall when I last looked into it.

Bent a wheel and had to retire the old Outlaw II's after a solid 10 year run. What a can of worms that has opened.
