FOr your bumper, are you liminating the lights... and running the bumper up close and personal to the trim?
That jig is something my friend Roland made for the bumpers. Unfortunately it's not square anywhere, so I have to improvise. Haha! After this, I'm going to give it back to him or cut it up for scrap.

I'm planning to mount the lights in front of the main tube and build a TT style push bar in front of them.

Every front bumper I've made has had a tweaked main tube...and so it continues. I had to narrow it up, so I cut it in half and welded it back together. Ha!! Well, it moved quite a bit...twisted. Oh well. If it was perfect I would do it for a living. Tonight's progress:

Ugly or not, I decided to tie the main tube ends in, because I will hit them at one time or another.

Picked up a couple of things at Kartek today.

Couple more goodies. Thanks to Philo for the deal on the bumps. Gonna have to shorten them up a bit. Haha!

Good stuff B. Are you going 2" or 3" on the air bumps?

TBD. Given the fact that there'll be bypasses on the front combined with very limited bump travel, I think 2" will be sufficient; however, I'll likely start at 3. All said, the bumps really aren't necessary at all. Just a little added security for those big hucks at Pismo in July. Rick is going down!

OK. Things have changed a bit. After a close encounter with the perfect man, all has become clear in life and I am finally sure of the direction this build is going. That being said................look at my smile.
