I think I asked this before but how do you get the rear shock mount in?

Also, that front bumper is gay.

It slides up between the frame rails. You push it through on one side then slide the other side up and across. Perty slick.

...and as far as the bumper. You should see the cocksucker that built it.

On a serious note ,i have ridden in , and been around this bronco many times ,it does extremly well and was built correctly ,for its intended purposes ,i am excited to see her run after the cage and front end get dealt with !

Couple of new goodies for the driveway queen. Swinger steering, new front suspension, new bumpers, relocated battery and the start of the cage....coming soon.

I'm leaning that direction right now. It just sounds like more fun than coilovers for some reason. Maybe it's because the rest of my Bronco is old school....the rear end, the rear suspension, the wheels, the owner, etc. Despite what people say, mounting these will be just as much work as coilovers and the cost difference is minimal. The adjustability and spring options are considerably less. Geometry is more critical. The 3.0 bypasses will make up for any inadequacies though. Haha!

Alright. We've rekindled our relationship, so it's time to show a little love. Had to get something done today, so I started a new bumper. The main tube came out a bit wide, but not as wide as it appears in the pictures. It's actually about even with the glass, which is what I was after. Gotta have protection for them bushes that like to jump onto the trail.

Gonna plate the frame horns this time, just for a change and see how I like it. Also planning to build a Householder style kill'em dead pushbar that ties into the engine cage...that isn't built yet.

Well, both radius arms are bent at the tabs/plates where they mount to the beams. The passenger's side was strangely much worse the the driver's side, where it took the big hit at the 500 last year. I was very disappointed to discover the plates are mild steel. They were easily massaged back into shape using just a vice and manual persuasion. I called Camburg to see if they would sell me just a set of plates, but they said it would be weeks before they would get some new radius arm components in, so I picked up some 5" x 1/4" cold finished flat stock that I'll weld on to double them up. They should hold up just fine after that. Nothing "yikesfab'd" has let me down yet. Haha!

Hey Brian,
Can you take a look and measure the thickness of the Camburg plates.... I am curious if they went to a thicker plate in the newer designs.....
