I'm 50 years old and have significant experience, believe it or not. When I make a decision, it's typically based on empirical knowledge/results from seat time and not popular opinion. Feel free to share your wisdom with the young bucks though.VintageIronFab wrote:Stay away from powdercoating — it’s the crack cocaine of auto finishes!!

Just out of curiosity, what style and backspace are these wheels? If I don't like the Alcoas, I'll sell them to Mike for his Bronco and put the money to a set of these for my F100.

Nickle plating must be the Meth of the coating world then cause it last's way longer than PC.
Looking good Brian!
Let me know when the hub centerics are available, Todd needs a set.

Re: Brian's '96
Hub spacers are on the way! This has taken much longer than originally anticipated, mostly because I've been slow to make decisions. Anxious to get these things out there though.BDKW1 wrote:Also, how did the new springs work out?
Springs are fantastic. Slightly more rate, but can still get ride height without a tender. Really pleased. Discovered the beams are on the bumps before the last compression stage, so I'm working on changing things up a bit to get it right. Unfortunately more up-travel means lots of mods, so it may be a while, but hopefully worth the effort.

I'm not proud of the battery mount, so no pictures. It was made by me, in haste, while trying to get ready for a baja trip. It works, but far from ideal.Becks_Bronco wrote:Went through your entire thread again but didn’t see any, do you have any pictures of your under the floor battery mount?
