The 85
Here it is in all of its glory! haha, This truck and me first crossed paths about 6 years ago when i was getting my license, It rolled on to the lot and i Begged my dad not to sell it and instead let me sell my lifted yota, he said no and sold it shortly later. Then about a month ago the guy who bought it traded it in too us on a waverunner, I swooped in and paid my pops the cash. With that being said, I know its ugly but i have had a hard on for this bronco for half a decade now. Its all stock right now, Come tomorrow its will be receiving a D44 Solid Axle from a 76 F150. The plans are to very slowly upgrade everything. It also will hopefully be painted Satin Black before the New Year.
The Specs:
1985 Bronco aka Betty
351ci 4v
C6/ Np208
D44/9 in. 3.73-1 ratio

Re: The 85
I was just telling Tony aka TCM GLX that I want to find a grey 1985 or 1986 Bronco with a 351. Nice ride. Keep it grey, maybe a nice flat hot rod grey like this:

Its going to be painted Flat black, maybe gray, hadnt thought about it. Gonna do sumthin different with the paint though. Gonna use Home depot urethane house paint and a special reducer, all the rat rod guys do it and it is supposedly bullet proof, and only cost $30 for all the supplies

Can't wait to see how it turns out. If you want to keep that front end call John at Autofab. He sells the standard oem style with a 3" larger wheel well opening and a 3" bulge version so you can keep the front grille and headlights the same.
Check out my 84 with Autofab fenders:

Re: The 85
Well I had to do something... People started complaining about the "ugly" factor of the bronc. I didnt have any body work done since eventually I would like front and rear glass fenders. I think it looks alright, at least it is one color now.
