dang that really did straighten those Deaver's out. Did you lose any lift/ride height or gain any at all?
Also do you have any spacers in the top of your buckets?

Virtually no change in ride height due to the taller deavers and the absence of the factory coil spring plate. No spacers either.

Are you running the Deaver 5.5" coils?
That is what I am running, but they are used as well. Initially they are 22" unsprung, mine were settled at 20". So they'e settled a good 2".
I might not lose height if I switch to the plate, but I might at the same time. I am not sure.

One way to find out... yes I'm running the 5.5 and I've hammered on them for a few years now.

And with how fairly cheap those ballistic plates are - it wouldn't really matter. It's not that hard to tear down and build up again haha.

If you go back a few pages I have a side by side pic of the 4" pro comps and the 5.5 deavers

If a pretty simple project, kind of a pain getting that lower bolt out, a few hours tops.

I'm selling the bench and bracket that uses the stock bench bolt holes if anyone is interested. $500

Alignment shop says bent pitman arm and drivers side tierod. Does the pitman arm have to go all the way up to the box so no splines show? The splines coming out of the box look tapered like the pitman isn't supposed to go all the way?ImageImage

That looks about right to me.

I'm thinking the drop pitman arm might just add a weakness rather than a solution...

I can't tell the difference in the wheel between stock and drop but I never bent the stock one.

The pitman does not have to go all the way on, just torque the nut to the correct ft-lb. Over tightening can break the pitman arm!

Ok will do. Just waiting on the tie rod to show up and back to the alignment shop.
