Getting really close to having this thing back together. Already spoke to the tuner and he can get me in this week. All the odds and ends as well as the "while its apart" shit is time consuming but will be worth it in the end. Fresh U joints for the front shaft and beer box gasket for the new maf.ImageImageImage

Got the rear done and complete, tedious work but I think shes good and sealed up back there.
I decided to use the 2 full sheets and start in the middle so if I have to do a fuel pump I wont have to cut up the insulation. I can pull the vinyl out and away from the sides without disassembling the plastic trim, I made sure no screws went into the vinyl.
I'll do the front carpet and doors tomorrow. Cerveza time.ImageImageImage

The foil backed jute is sold in 72x48" sheets. I got everything from OC except the CLD tiles.

Where to start...
March of 2019 we pulled the motor and sent it off to have the 408w assembled.
I had been stockpiling parts for a few years with 200k miles being the end goal to pull the motor and refresh everything for the next decade of abuse.
I found a brand new stroker crank on CL, some connecting rods on a mustang forum, fuel injectors on the lightning forum... so on and so on thinking I would save a buck and buy speed parts as I found them. At the time and this being the first time I'd ever attempted a build like this I thought I was a few steps ahead.
Long story short, talk to your engine builder and buy a matched rotating assembly and save yourself the money and headache in shop hours it takes the builder to make everything work.
Do not buy used injectors! Buy a brand new matched set, this mistake cost me alot of time and money looking for the cause of an imbalance in the motor when tuning.
So all said and done 11 months later the bronco is home with a fresh motor, trans and billet torque converter. Fresh interior new u joints and a ton of other little odds and ends in the "while its apart" phase.
Do your homework, ask lots of questions and dont take shortcuts.
That said the Bronco is better than it's ever been and ready for the next 10 years of memories with friends and family!ImageImage
