Re: "project orange juice"
Got my beams out to do some final welding on them (shock tabs and bump stop pads). My question is, where is everyone putting there bump strike pads? Just trying to get some ideas.

Re: "project orange juice"
Well had the day off so I decided to get my shock mounts and strike plates welded up, and put some paint on these things. Had an abundance of semi gloss black so for now thats the color. Might get some charcoal grey or black hammered tone paint for final paint.

Hoping to get everything painted and hung today. Lengthen my steering and weld in my bump cans.

Re: "project orange juice"
Well I thought bumping off the beam would work, but no such luck. The can and shock come into contact at about 3/4 droop, my bad for not checking before removing the beams. So we're gonna bump off the bolt. There will be a 3/8's 3" round plate welded to the top of the bolt.

A friend of mine had these built for his f150 and my bronco. Gotta keep that wiring harness protected.

Oh man, I've been wanting something like that. Any chance he wants to build another?

Haven't picked mine up yet from him since he's 2 hours away. But they look like they fit well.
