i was accually driving it.. pulled up to a stopsign and it stalled.. felt like it ran out of fuel. no wierd nioses. or anything else. i drove an 86 for years. figured it stalled. normal. lol and tryed to restart it. it caught a few times but then in the middle it made a clunck and stoped turning. that was a first for me.

Lies! My 93 is all black. Lol.

Chris: Time for a 6.2L Escalade motor and a 4L80?

It must be a custom, or a late 93 build!

Probably both. It's a custom with 4WABS.

If it's something like the timing chain that can be fixed I'll keep the 302 if not, I have a spare 351W in the garage from White Lightning. Thinking of having that rebuilt and dropping it into the Silver Bullet. For now Bronco is going into the garage and I have to start researching the swap so that it's smog legal.

6L80e if 6.2

Why don't you just build a 347 Stroker motor for it Chris? That way you keep everything else stock. An LS would be pretty sweet though and you can find a 5.3L with a 4L80E for 1500 bucks.

Nothing Rod. It's just sitting their collecting dust. Waiting on my mechanic to swap out the motor, then it's heading out for cage work, skid plates and some other odds and ends that are still loose.

No not yet. I've taken a break from the Silver Bullet but now feeling recharged to get the motor replaced, front skid plate built, belly pan built, rear gas tank skid and start the cage work! I'm looking forward to getting all of the stuff done that wasn't done.

Chris,
Are you scheduled in behind Tony's for the cage work?

Hey Tom,

I've been talking to Bobby at Solo for the cage work.

The Silver Bullet was sent off to my mechanic. It's funny when the Tow guy knows you as the guy with a lot of Broncos, ha ha ha. He's towed at least three of my Broncos.

While the engine is being pulled I asked the mechanic to remove the fenders so Tony can skin them for me. I'll be ordering some new OEM style Autofab fenders for the Silver Bullet. Stay tuned.

Hey Chris,
So, when is the induction date? What sort of cage have you decided upon?

It's always great to have "personal services" when it comes to taking care of the Bronco!

So when do you expec to get the Bronco back with a new motor? Next week?

Have you already ordered the fenders? Robert has been building some great fiberglass... he's really putting some very good glass together... I think you'll be very pleased! He's taking a lot of pride in building nice stuff! John doesn't have to worry as much about the quality cause Robert is all over it... ! Don't forget, you gotta get the fenders painted right away so you don't have that fiberglass/mismatch look!

Ha ha ha, I like the comments Tom, keep pushing Chris to get off his behind and push the build!!!!

Chris, we need to sync up, I need those fenders, and you need to get the autofabs ordered up ASAP!! Unless your planning to send this straight to Bobby's so he can finish her all up with the cage, seats, belly pan and gas tank skid.....!

So, which motor is the mechanic putting in? 5.3 or 6.0?
