It's really hard to act tough with a headlight out. Isn't it!?

Haha! It wasn't burnt out, it was just out of it's cage. Found it dangling inside and burning everything it came in contact with.

Could do a Slash X to Giant Rock run if you guys feel like putting down the miles. Should be over 100 miles round trip.

I've never hit Slash X either so I'd be interested. May have to bum a ride or watch the right foot if I take the Tacoma, but I'm ok with either.

I'm doing the same thing! That is, until I have the cash in the "bronco fund", as my wife calls it. Basically any money I can scrounge up aside from normal paychecks. If you find a sweet deal that gets one of these at a discount, let me know :)

Doing some more Baja prep this weekend and discovered my steering box was done. Crack in sector grew and it was leaking out of the top cover. Replaced the gearbox with a reman, due to time constraints. Unfortunately I got in panic mode and didn't follow the proper pre-bleed steps, so I've got air in the lines. What's the best way to bleed it out?

I usually top up the res, start the engine and top up until it reaches the full mark, then have someone cycle the steering slowly lock to lock (wheels off the ground), while keeping the res topped up until all the air is bled out. Never had any issues doing it this way.
