Yeah it makes such a huge difference. I’m kicking myself for not taking the time and doing it right the first time. Nothing will ever go on without steel it first.

Getting some new beams made right now from Richer racing, but I wanted to hit these with steel it just because it looks so dang good. Not much prep time on the beams due to replacement with fully fabricated ones or frame as it’s getting plated.
Re: John's 91 GFB
Very happy with this new CBR radiator. Hoping this will be enough to keep the tranny cool as well since space is so limited. If not I’ll run two tranny coolers mounted in front of the rear shocks and will find a way to get some air flow.
Also very glad I found this pivot bracket now and not during the season when it failed. I picked up some new brackets from solo and they look great.

Finally got an accessory package that fits. Huge thanks to fellow GFB member Steve for all the help getting it ironed out. Ended up using a new Holley mid mount kit that looks pretty sweet. Goal is to have all accessories on and radiator mounted this week.

Wow!
Re: John's 91 GFB
Waiting on a little change to the one piece front clip from my boys at Fiberwerx, I cut off a trim piece that we need now so they are glassing it back on. While we wait doing custom headers and exhaust. Going for something a little different just for the heck of it, doing exit similar to this except flush on the glass.

Hey buddy looking good. Bring exhaust exit past similar to Bret's was in that pic hot air and occasional flame you will see needs to be directed past the fiberglass. I have seen fiberglass catch fire from flush mount. Also it will be very loud with the shorties. We started with shorties on my old bronco and ended up with 16" or 18" mufflers and it was still way too loud for me. I think I am getting old lol.
Re: John's 91 GFB
Hey thanks Brandon, excited to get this phase done. Yeah thanks for the heads up, I talked to Bret about that issue and Vik knows of it. We are going to try something a little different with the back plate extended onto the glass a little more than what you see here on Bret's old truck, and also come out a little different angle. Could still have the glass get hot in which case I will protrude it out just like here. As far as sound, we are headsets 100% of the time and these dang PCI Vibe Trax are so good you can't hear anything so I think I will be fine and if not that will be an easy switch to some bigger mufflers, plenty of room down there. I got a deal on these so will give them a try before spending money on some.hollandermotorsports wrote:Hey buddy looking good. I am excited to add another little detail to the bronco. I’ve been in a few trucks that have this setup and it worked great.

New driveshafts are on, new driveline cycles a lot more than I was expecting. We strapped it at 32” will the driveshaft not even close, had plenty more to go but no need.
Dash layout, tilt hood, and big filters going on. iPad mini for drivers side and it’s a 9.7” shown in the picture but the 12.9” will be going in.
