Well its been a long time since I have posted any updates and I am excited to post these...also as a side note for those that know a bit of the story on the length of time this has taken...please keep opinions to yourself on the individual. I say this only because I know all the reasons why it is taking so long and a big one is because the person doing the work wants to do this right and I am very appreciative to him for these efforts. I am not at liberty to share all that is going on for him but he is moving to the next level as far as what is coming out of the shop and I want nothing more than to him succeed. I would have a different opinion if he was sitting on his butt...nuff said so onto the pics...
Ruff stuff 9" housing with brace..no pics fully welded up but you get the idea

So its coming together and will be awesome...so when its all said and done it will have coil over conversion +4 beams, +4 9" with rear disk, glass all the way around.....hope I can update in the near future...

Sweet! Looks stout! Adjustable caster is always a plus.

What size heims are you using on the beam side? This is something I have wanted to do for awhile.

Why do heim on the beam side and on the frame side? Would that take caster out of the equation? If so why not uniball?

Thanks Steve I am very excited hopefully in the next week or two she will be rolling again and down here and I can lend a hand with the finishing work, ....Otter not sure what size hiems I will find out for you though....dtback the heim on the back side of the arm allows the arm to cycle in the vertical plane and the hiems on the beam side allow you to adjust the caster itself while still acting as a connection point to the beam in reality the function of the heim is strictly adjustability since there should be very little lateral misalignment, more often than not the radius arms are built with a set amount of caster and bolted up to the beam....the adjustable caster is probably overkill for me but it will be nice to have that option and not something you see every day.....

Heim vs. uniball on frame side gives you a little adjustment on wheel base if needed. Not much at all = probably not enough anyone would notice, but it's there if somehow your wheelbase is slightly off side to side.

As he said the front heim allow for adjustable caster if you feel the need to change it up due to handling characteristics.

You guessed it after some discussion that is now the plan...not lengthening it though mainly looking at overall ride quality and cost...I can do it now and be done or do it again later and cost me more....I am pretty excited but I need to get these parts sold now haha
