Lowrance Video Feed w/ IPhone??

Post by VintageIronFab »

Why couldn’t you take your iPhone/android and plug it into the video feed on the lowrane just so you have a much bigger screen to show you turn by turn? Basically the iPhone is the brains but the lowrance shows whatever screen the iPhone has on it at the time. Is that possible?

so Gen 2 lowrance and newer have the ability to allow you to use wifi to display the info from the unit on your phone or tablet. it not the most cost effective thing but does give you multiple screens to view the info. It is basically a mirror of what on the GPS with the lowrance APP. I have not done this on the new gen 3 units only the gen 2.

For touch only. Not for the Gen2M no touch. Looks like all Gen3s are all touch.

So can the Lowrance App operate on a tablet and do the exact same as the regular unit provided you had the appropriate GPS antenna - the white domed thing?
