I am a fan of the RG8X coax for durability and the power of the 110 watt radio, but I would not coil it. Back in the late 80's, I had a 500 watt Linear on a CB radio and it was great to have in the desert and Baja. It would lite up the florescent lites at the Jack in the Box drive in during the day when I keyed the mic. It would even completely lite up a shop lite when within 12" of the antenna, even when the shop lite was unplugged. It was pretty funny. I got rid of it because the FCC was cracking down on CB radio linears.
