Ok..... looking for some help here..................
Vic is looking to step to the 8" GPS (mine) and so I am likely going to pass mine into his ride, and step into a 10". What I am looking for is some help with the model numbers (Andy... which one do you have again?) and what the differences are, what to look for etc etc...
Chasetruck, I know you have some experience here, which model numbers should I be chasing down?

you going "old skool" or all fancy pants with the HDS model stuff?
If the latter, then you are out of my realm. If the former, many models do damn near the same thing.
The ones that are the LCX series are often used in boats as chartplotters & have a bit better background maps.
The globalmap series are definitely a good go-to.

Sticking to the old school. I like the way they work and have learn how to use them. Thinking LCX 113... thoughts?

I think that's a pretty old one. Does it have the LGC-12w antenna? If so - I'd go newer

What is newer? LCX-110? How do I know which antenna is compatible?

Found a couple of the LCX-113, and it says they use a LGC-3000 antenna.......

Then go with them. Maybe the 103 is the one I'm thinking of with the 12-w antenna. If they work with the 3000 antenna you're good to go.
