pit radio questions
I scored at the jy this weakend and found a Motorola radio and pickex it up for 15 bucks. Iam making this a pit/base radio and was wondering what frequencys i should program into it , And who should i take it to to get programed?
I have been me for 32 years and know i cant spell for Sh!$ so get over it . Thanks Josh

Daren down at Autofab prgrams those radios for me.
Do you have a closer picture of the model number... that will help decipher if it is UHF or VHF, as well as what frequencies you can run on it. Also, if it is VHF 144-174mhz, you can change out the head unit to something a little bit more modern.
Hit me up, I am likely taking aout 10 of these to Autofab next week to get programmed.

Any other part numbers on these? Programming costs varies

witha little surch i found out that this is a vhf radio wiht opperating range 136-174mhz or 403-512mhz
and it a wide band . radio is fully reprogramable .
the codes on it were for fleets too drop production cost. found stuff on the web to mod them so goign to give it a try hell its only 15 bucks

Found out its in 440use range and trying too figure out if i could change it to two meter any help
