Hey!
Just picked up a new to me bronco.
Definitely not new to the desert but never had a bronco before.
I’ve had a few Toyota’s from 7s to linked and long travel, also had a 5-1600 car and just sold my fully built rzr. I decided to get back into a truck for the safety of my family. With the trails getting so congested with side by sides and their lack of collision protection this was a no brainer for me. I wanted to retain the ability to carry speed comfortably but with 4wd on tap if needed, my k5 with a straight front axle wasn’t going to fit the bill!
So here she is!

Re: Newbie
Welcome. Looks like a good starting point for sure, or even just a "hop in & use her". What's the specs list?

Re: Newbie
Mild build 351,Lincoln 9” with a spool and 5.xx gears(have not jacked it up yet to actually check)
Caged by the Baja shop, stock width front end with 1 king 2.5 co and 1 2.5 smooth body per side. I will be swapping out for bypass in the future. Rear is deavers with a 2.5 smooth body, I will be swapping these for bypass before the front.
I have hydraulic bumpstops,a trussed full float 9” housing with disc brakes, gps, race radio that I will be adding as time permits.
I’m also thinking that I’ll add fiberglass dash, little more bracing on the cage, vintage air, and extend the beams next summer
