Hello GFB

Post by wiglaf37 »

My name is Jason. I have been lurking on this site for a while just reading. GFB got me interested in purchasing a bronco.

I picked up a 93 5.8 auto with drop brackets and 35" bfg muds. Looking to fix the suspension and make a decent go fast truck that I will probably be my daily driver.

Things I have done so far:
Replaced engine with reman long block.
Replaced TCase from a 96.
Replaced exploded 8.8 spiders and clutches with kit from Yukon.
J40 rear springs minus a leaf with .5" cap bolts.
Threat extended shackles.
Threat rear shock mount.
Raptor shocks - dc shock prep, revalve 15s on rebound and installed Schraders.
Edelbrock intake manifold.

Waiting to go on:
Threat 4.5 beams with all dave's options (i think)
Trac-Lock for 4.88
82 dana44 w/3 bolt stub
Bilstein 9100 2.5 coil overs.

I'm new to posting on these boards. Hope I'm posting this in correct location. Not sure if this should be in the tech section? Apologizes if I'm not doing this right.

Trying to convert to maf. Read a lot of posts on here and FSB site.. lots of information on re-pinning harness and using mustang computers.. Think because people using non maf engine harnesses they needed to re-pin.

Picked up computer mob1 and complete harness and fuse box from a 1995 f-150 5.8L e4od. Also got all of the vacuum lines, erg valve stuff, and complete stock maf air intake. The donor truck used two oxygen sensors on the y-pipe. Installing a bung and new sensors is easy..

Question is can I just install all of this in 1993 5.8L e4od and have it run?

Guess there isn't an edit. Can't seem to find the option.

Forgot to add that I also pulled the trans harness with the double oxygen sensor plugs for e4od.

Thanks for any input.
