New bronco owner

Post by Chris18 »

I just bought my first bronco. It's a 1995 XLT sport with 104k original miles, 2 5" rough country lift with 33x12.5 falken rockey mountaim Ats's. It's super clean! So far I've had to replace the radiator and hoses, and I'm blind to rebuild the 8.8 with a Detroit truetrac cause it's clunking a lot. I had planned on a full prerunner with threat suspension and McQueen glass but I spent more out of the budget buying it than I anticipated. Besides I cringe at the thought of cuttings it apart cause it is soo clean. What sort of things should I be looking out for on these rigs? I am also going to replace the auto locking hubs with waren manual locking hubs. It runs really nice and the trans seems to shift great.

LMAO Nick.... looks like the one I sent you.

Welcome! These are very capable stock width...no need to add glass and hack the body up. Study up in the GoFast tech threads for front and rear suspensions...that took me close to a week to read thru a couple times and I'm still learning

Welcome. I was going to tell you that you'll make Nick jealous with this one, but he let you know right off! Nice looking truck- even if you are driving it upside down.

What are you thinking of getting? Not too many options better looking than the factory wheels, in my opinion.
