85 bronco racin the 1450 class in southern california

Post by FATsloppyBRONCOS »

HEY everybody,
im just about finished buildin my 85 bronco for the 1450 race series. ive been workin on it for about 6 years and learnin a lot along the way. the last two years ive really gotten busy and im almost ready to hit the desert again. my truck has been torn apart for the last 14 months while ive been four linking it. i work out of state, so its a pain tryin to complete any major improvements on the fatsloppybronco  other than the some existing cage and front end, ive done all the work on this beast, with the help of some freinds of course.

so here are the highlights:
- rebuild the motor and trans, all new electrical and ignition system, new dash and gauges
- 351 runnin 9.7to1 compression. 650 edelbrock, electric fuel pump, edelbrock intake manifold, 67 mustang heads
- headman headers into single chamber race mufflers(shes so loud)
- c6 trans with manuel valve body. (shes 2wd now)
- longtravel i beam front end, 24" of travel, stock mounting locations, stock steering with extended tie rods.
- 4link rear, 27" of travel
- stretched wheel base 9". went from 108" to 117"
- 14" king 2.5 coilover at each corner
- 16" racerunner 3.0 bypass 3 tube in the rear
- 14" racerunner 3.0 bypass 3 tube in the rear
- currie rear end with equal length axels and detroit locker. 5" wider than stock
- explorer disk brakes in the rear
- 35" bfg yellow labels
