Hello from Mississippi

I've been reading for a minute on here, but I'm about to start my build so I figured I should post up.

I'm starting with a 96 F150 scsb 2wd, the plan is a 4wd swap with c&t beams and good suspension. We don't have any dezert here but lots of rough dirt roads and we try and camp often during the cold season.

I'm fairly new to ford, but can fab and wrench. My previous rigs have been squarebody chevys but I'm ready to go fast.

It's getting a 4wd swap, cut and turned beams, deavers and shocks.
Shooting for 4 inches and 35's

Apparently i can’t read lol. Good mix. Slap a posi in the front and an aggressive posi / locker in the rear and itlll go places. Coilovers or springs? Either or works nicely.

I'm planning on springs in the front until the budget allows coilovers.
Rear plan is deavers and 2.5's in the back with a bed cage.

Rancho springs give the best ride if you can find them. I think they’re a 400 lb spring rate. Deavers are nice but dont work well without modding coil buckets. Pro comps ride rough to me. Deavers, q80s are the new trend. 2.5 wide so youll need to either build a different shackle or cut washers.

Good foundation. SuperCab mandatory for leg room, future cage, who knows.
