Guess the secret of getting added is knowing when to check your spam folder lol...Anyway, swapped a Lightning for this 96, a month or so back and wanna make a nice trail rig...Not super crazy but a bit faster than average.

A couple of things changed so far.. I wasn't sure about keeping the 35's but the po set the pro comp suspension set to 6" lift and I'm thinking the stage 4 solo kit should drop it down a few inches...So it's going to 4.56's next week. The po had dropped in an 8.8 from an early lighting that I'm keeping but will add a tru trac and after smoking the rear drums driving a hilly area, disk's for the rear.

Good looking start. Like your new wheels better than what it came with for sure. Those look good!

thanks, I got lucky. it one of the most solid trucks I've looked at and the po threw in the 35's. I was going with Alcoa's but found a deal on the Methods. no choice.
Hoping to get suspension info from you guys that know as its a bit loose and I'd be happiest fixing it once

yeah, the new suspension done. Way more happy as the change got rid of a lot of wander in the steering. AlsorRegeared the front to match the 4.10's in back and can actually use 4wd now
Next step, rebuilding the steering box and shaft.
