Misc. shop stuff

Post by ChaseTruck754 »

More crap I'm cleaning out from the shop.

1st - shop manuals. Haynes, chiltons, etc. $5 each except for the Civic one which is a factory manual. $15 for that one
What I have is:
Chilton - Ford Ranger/Bronco II and Explorer - 1983 - 91
Haynes - Ford Ranger & Bronco II - 1983 - 92
Haynes - Ford Explorer (including Mazda Navajo) - 1991 - 95
Haynes - Ford Explorer (including Mazda Navajo and Mercury Mountaineer) - 1991 - 2000
Chilton - Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer - 1991 - 99

Haynes - Toyota pick-ups - 1979 - 95 & 4Runner 1984 - 95

Chilton - Ford Thunderbird / Mercury Cougar - 1983 - 97
Haynes - Ford Thunderbird / Mercury Cougar - 1989 & 90

1989 Honda Civic Factory Service Manual

Baker's type rack. Good for storing misc. parts in the garage - $15
x 147.jpg

Wood workbench. Well built and sturdy! 30" x 69" work surface.
This one is a bit buried so might not be able to come out of the shop for a few weeks, but if you need it right away I can work o getting it out sooner!
Asking $50 on this one

Toyota manual is sold & gone as are the 3 exploder ones.

Figured out more stuff to part with though.

Rolling cart. Smaller tubular frame & wood. Nothing special but I've used it as a small tool cart or whatever - $10

Vise on stand. Nice double sided vise - heavy! - $125
Vice mount.jpg

Pro tools HSN 501i notcher. Adjustable plane notcher. Definitely a cool tool, but I've got this one and the JD2 equivalent & can't justify both. Costs $300 new and nothing wrong with it - asking $250.

Peck, Stowe & Wilcox ("Pexto" in the early years) 24" jump shear. A nice, well built piece - perfect for the garage shop due to it's manageable size. Capacity is 16 ga. mild steel and I think the thing was built in the 20's. Might be 1918. I'll have to go back & look at the plate. Asking $500.

Next I've got a cast "inspection table" - would be good for a fixture/jig table for smaller parts. It's 16x22 and about 3.5" thick.
A nice piece of old skool cool for sure, I just don't have enough room for all this stuff anymore...
Asking $100 on this one.

Cross slide sold. Will make smoking deal on the lift.

Here's a bit more info on it now that I have some time:

cable type with 7000lb capacity. Got it in a trade from a buddy/guy I do tool deals with a lot and I never hooked it up at my shop so I don't have a guarantee all is there or functioning.

Looks to be 110v powered (?!?!) and complete. Can send a bunch more pics. GFB price = $500!

seriously considering putting this in my driveway and letting the neighbors get pissed. How tall is the tallest point of the lift. Maybe I can just cut holes into my attic to clearance it.
