With changes in our family configuration and lifestyle it's time to let my supreme project go. Everytime I visit my garage I'm pained when I see my 1996 "Overland Sleeper" Bronco, literally wasting away. I start it up and take it on an errand at least once a month but there are no longer any trips planned, so it's just a damn shame to be reminded of that each day. This week the Bronco made a trip to Solo Motorsports where Bobby had the guys check it out from stem to stern

Engine: 5.8i
Gearing: 4.56
Differentials: Eaton e-locker FT, Detroit Truetrac RR

Biography
This vehicle was purchased from the owner of a Ford Dealership in Auburn, WA and trailered down to SoCal upon purchase. It was immaculate inside and out, a perfect start to a sleeper go-fast bronco build! Most of the build was completed by Southwest Performance in Ramona, CA. More recently it has had suspension repairs, tuning, and gone through in detail by Solo Motorsports in Covina, CA. This vehicle has been driven offroad on rock crawling trails in Big Bear and gofast trails like the Mojave Trail and two awesome expeditions to Baja, Mexico. It has been rigorously maintained with the best lubricants. Repairs have always been made professionally and correctly, usually an opportunity for an upgrade.
For most of its life it has either been garage stored or under a car cover. I stopped collecting invoices long ago, but I would estimate there is somewhere north of $45k invested. This Bronco is 100% smog legal and currently registered through 2018. It's road and trail ready as-is, engine is smooth, transmission shifts crisply, and no repairs needed. Reasonable offers will be considered and I'm not looking for any trades at this time. A truck like this would be near a 2-month build in a shop like Solo Motorsports...but it's here without the wait!

A quick note: This vehicle is not caged and has the stock leather seats and seat belts.

Solo Motorsports has done the most recent work on the Bronco and has gone through it, like they would a used vehicle buyers inspection just this week. They took it for a test drive, tightened up some bolts and screws, adjusted some hoses, and told me it was ready to hit the trails. I was told by Bobby at Solo Motorsports that anyone with questions on its condition is welcome to call him.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions or to schedule a viewing.

Nice looking truck – sad you aren't able to use it more. I'd love to see more details on your belly pan. It looks great.

If I can get it up on a lift or find one I've already taken, I'll post it up. Thanks!

You bronco is very similar to mine. I bought it from Robert Craven.
I have a couple of questions for you. You got a couple of mods I’m interested in.
I’d like to speak over the phone if possible
