What are you trying to do?

Run brake lines down the radius arms to the caliper.

Ryan it's a cool factor and I get it- I ran them down my radius arms on my f150 - agsin they look cool-- I will say I prob wouldn't do it again because I just honestly understand the point of it besides cool.

SWP buckets block the factory location due to the bump can being built in. Cool factor has nothing to do with it. Maybe Tony and Vic will chime in.

Hope this helps. This is an earlier version with braided steel lines. I have seen them do it with hard lines in the same location down the length of the radius arms.

Thanks Damon I've been through that album a few times now. I talked to Mark Sr. He told me how he does it and I have a good idea but a few pics from the inside of the frame rails and RA would be tits if anyone has time this weekend to snap a few.

I personally like to run hard lines as much as possible for many reasons and non of which are for cool factor. First brake performance soft lines expand under braking pressure longer the line the more expansion the less brake performance. Second keeps it up and tight and eliminates a lot of risk of being snagged on branchs, rocks, or other hazards. Third every soft line on my bronco and others I do hard lines for is the same meaning I carry 1 spare brake line and if a soft line fails it will fit in any location. Ok well I guess they do look a lot better than soft lines when done right as well so maybe they are cool.

Make sure if you are doing hardlines to put tabs and bulkhead fittings so that it is well supported.

Vic and I both are running stainless flexible lines, we don't have hard lines running down the radius arm on either of our setups. Never had an issue honestly... would like the hard lines for cool factor but the stainless coated lines have worked perfectly for years. No real performance issues, but then again we dont push very hard.

I'd whole heartedly agree with Tony-- you said the buckets were in the way - that's an easy work around by converting the end of the factory hardline to a -3AN- then using a hole in the frame or drilling one for a -3AN bulkhead fitting.

I can text you a pic of mine. I'm running ss flex to pivot point of the arm hard line down the arm and short flex to the caliper. 909-900-2169

Not SW but how I did mine. Bulkhead fitting out of frame to -3 SS brake line secured to rad arm using bicycle cable guides and zip ties. No issues, clean and easy.

Shoot, I just saw this Ryan... I know it’s about six months since your request, but do you still need pictures? I have an SWP setup.
