1982 Bronco 4x4

Post by Tchajagos »

Thinking about selling this 82 bronco. I really don't have the room for it. White/blue on outside with blue interior. Not a whole lot of electronics to break down on you in this truck. Almost like a classic. Good starting point for a Prerunner or race bronco. 35 years old makes it a classic truck and can be ran in the vintage 4x4 class of Norra. Looking for $1500 complete or $500 without wheels or axles. The more I sit in it the more I fall in love so hurry up if you want it haha. It runs and drives but needs some love. Everything is stock so I will more than likely pass smog after a tune up.

The good:

-351w with a carb set up. Can be easily built up without expensive efi mods

-C6 trans. All around good,non-electronic off-roading transmission.

-9" rear axle with factory limited slip. Stock gearing.

-bolt in axle front thirdmember. No c-clips so you can run a locker if you want to.

-manual x-fer case. No electronics to break.

-factory forged aluminum alcoa wheels

-power windows

-has AC but needs to be charged

-cruise control

-no major rust issues

-body is fairly straight with no dents except on top of tailgate.

-sweet roof rack

The not-so-good:

-no door lock keys
-dent on top of tailgate
-paint has a nice patina. Rat rod bronco would be bad ass.
-needs a new mechanical fuel pump
-needs ignition wires hooked back up correctly.
-top of dash pad has some cracks.
-center of steering wheel needs a new panel
-carb could use a cleaning
-rear window doesn't go down
-owes like $500 in back fees.
-needs a new headliner

Ok. If anyone is interested. I am swapping an 8.8 into it and swapping the front diff out for one from a 95 to keep the same stock gearing together. Need to get atleast $400 with the swapped in axles. Also have a factory limited slip front pumpkin with stock gearing. These are very rare and you don't have to do any kind of sketchy mods to eliminate the c-clip because the factory LS uses the c-clip unlike an after market LS. I will trade for a truetrac or looking to get $400 for the complete pumpkin ready to go.
