1982 F150 stepside 4x4

Post by Tchajagos »

Super rad truck! 1982 f150 reg cab stepside short bed. 4x4!!! Auto with manual xfer case. I think it's a 5.0 V8. Not really sure, might be 5.8. The body is rust free and straight. One dent on the whole truck which is on the roof and can be popped out. I might just do that. The paint is some kind of dark green or teal. Clear coat pealing off though. The bed is perfect. No dents or cracks at all. The interior is a bit dirty. Dash is cracked and a rip in the seat on driverside (typical wear) the door panels are not cracked but can use a cleaning. All windows are good with no cracks. Doors all work. Has tilt steering wheel and factory ac. Has. 85k in the tach. Engine turns freely

The axles are D44 TTB up front with the very hard to find bolt in passenger axle that everyone wants. 6 bolt snouts. The rear is a ford 9" 31 spline full size width.

The bad:
-missing a few parts.
-driverside head
-radiator+hoses
-distributor
-power steering pump
-alternator
-water pump
-battery

Pros-

-Hard to find the stepside beds in this perfect of condition.
-v8
-auto
-4x4!!!!
-factory ac
-looks rad
-will drop panties.

Looking to get $2000 for this sweet ride. Sold as is for parts with bill of sale. I can get a title but it will be a few weeks and I will need a deposit. If I can't sell in a few weeks I am gonna part it out and bring in more than that. If you want to buy the truck I would be happy to install any parts that you bring me to get it running. I would even be willing to grab the parts from the pick a part for the cost of the parts.

It's a really cool truck. I ran the door codes to make sure what it has. It has the 5.0 V8 and a C6 auto trans. The rear 9" is limited slip with 3.50 gears.

Does the $200 for the front d44 include the third? I'll take it. Or how much for it?

I will just leave this here. This is my old step side sleeper that I should have never sold. Whats the best price would do? Not that I need another project but now my wheels are spinning.

Brandon that truck looks really good. Is it true that these trucks use the same rear fenders as the duallies? I am actually amazed at how straight the bed is on this one.
