I just bought it and yes it is for sale. I'm on the fence about fixing it up haha. If I don't get what I'm asking I won't sell it.

What needs fixing? How does it run/drive? Looks like out of state plates in the pics - has that been corrected/is it licensed in CA?

The stepside on the crew cab would look so cool. I love my crew cab short bed 1999. Since I just put 37's on it, it finally looks proportionally better than the 35's did. Now how they will work in hard charging in Baja, we will see.

Put some 37's on your crew cab and the stepside bed, that would be a beast. Long travel it with Dana 50/44 hybrid. Sorry I was day dreaming again. :-)

the diesel is kind of hard to start in the morning. I think it needs glowplugs or something. Maybe an injector or 2 rebuilt, Im not sure. Im not sure I like the 5 speed. I know its lot stronger than the e4od but its so different than all the other sticks Ive driven. So Im not worried if I dont sell it because its a good truck. I picked it up to tow my girlfriends 5th wheel so Id want to keep it stock.

Hard cold start is usually the glow plugs. Do you get some blue smoke when cranking, or a rich diesel smell? Had the same issue with mine, easy to replace too, except for the d side rear valve cover bolt.

I would pay twice what your asking for that step side anyone around here(NY) would. Anybody on here have any connections with shipping vehicles? Somebody should seriously look into it. I just bought a 2wd 90 with straight 6 126k on it for $3,600. It was from Texas so no rust. Clean vehicles up here on worth 3x or more than out there. There is a lot of demand for rust free older vehicles around here. You should see what a clean 7.3 around here brings in even with 300k on clock.

Been cleaning this truck and I'm starting to like it. Maybe I will just keep it. I have truck ADD though! Now sitting on 2 pickups a bronco and a suzuki. Man, I wish I had more room to park everything.

The interior is some kind of mint green and the outside is a jade. I would name this truck slimer or something.

Just noticed that under the make shift bed liner it is a wood floor bed. I'm excited to restore it now.

Something like this
