intake is used but new condition and the throttle body is brand new never mounted. still back and forth between going LS or stroked 351 so neither of these parts will work for those choices. $900 obo

And why? Because it’s a better platform than anything Ford has ever made?

Where's the like button for this reply Travis lol. Gotta love when those with the bleeding blue ovaries get their panties in a wad about spending less money for a better part because it doesn't have a Ford logo on it. It's hard to argue with the LS. They're done (and overdone) for a reason. Things that work well for a good price tend to be pretty popular.
Best part for the job at the best price no matter who makes it has been my mantra. As is "it's YOUR truck, do what YOU want". You don't like Chevy motors, don't run one. But the overly strong opinions about not running them are pretty silly to me.

I agree, to be honest, i may still run a windsor motor, but its hard to beat an LS and i dont believe in brand loyalty. Having turned wrenches professionally for both GM and Ford, its not even close which one is better, thats just my .02, if anyone hates the idea id be happy to sell them the truck lolChaseTruck754 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 10:25 amWhere's the like button for this reply Travis lol. And I have a large box or 3 in the attic of Windsor parts just in case. But with reality being the LS will be cheaper in the long run HP for HP with better mileage and arguably better reliability it's hard to argue with. Spending much more to build a motor based on brand loyalty seems so silly to me. Then again I'm not independently wealthy, so who knows.

Re: 302/351 top end parts
If willing to split them, how much for the TB?
LS won't go in smog-land w/o being a major PITA. BT, DT on a customer's project, and that was before CARB made the rules even worse. Kind of ironic that's their acronym......

Sold, thanks for the interest. Not super worried about smog it will get registered elsewhere if I go that route but I agree that can be a real nightmarentsqd wrote:If willing to split them, how much for the TB?

Especially being 2wd it makes a lot of things easier. I am also not independently wealthy hahaChaseTruck754 wrote:And I have a large box or 3 in the attic of Windsor parts just in case. If only I could make what I make here in a state where a starter home isn’t 650K
