SVT Super Charger, injectors and Kit
Hello ALL!
I live in San Diego and love anything off road basically.
I have 2 daughters and a son on the way and a wife who loves this stuff too.
So looking to build a awesome rig.
Thats built but comfortable.
Please go easy, as I did not build this or know every little intimate detail for those of you who are engine builders or just in general know everything or think you do.
I will do my best to answer questions and for the serious buyer, I CAN get the history of the parts and probably even get you on the line with the guy who built and used to own this rig.
But I'm not going to bug him as I like him taking my calls when I have a serious question.
I went to Baja last October and completely fell in love and it hit me that all that really matters is hauling ass through the desert!
I decided to sell my super clean Jeep XJ (go slow 4x4 rig) and build a kick ass go fast rig.
I found a 1993 5.8 Bronco that had a bunch of parts.
I thought for the money, although rough around the edges it wasn't too far Offroad only and was what I needed and like I said some good parts.
I am on here today looking to sell or possibly trade this Custom Supercharger setup that is currently as I write this still on my ride.
I don't know a lot of things about it.
I don't know the mileage on the parts
They are used
HOWEVER everything works and work great.
And the previous owner spent lots of dough and time having this built, and building it himself.
It adds power (how much exactly not sure but I believe around 100ft lbs based on our discussions) and 50-60hp
Kit maxes out at least for now at 6lbs.
My motor has stock internals and there hasn't been any issues.
The following is what I am interested in selling and how much it cost the old owner to purchase.
I am being extremely transparent here these are his texts to me copy and pasted into this thread.
The charger should sell around 500-600, as a set I would start high, it is one of a kind , I would try and sell the whole set up, chip, injectors, upper custom intake.
Pulley system cost 600 from machine shop alone, intake and charger for at least 2000 bucks.
Injectors = 300
Chip= 500 (custom tune)
Charger= 600
Pulley=600
The throttle body= 250
Intake box below charger, custom made one of a kind. 700
Total to make yourself = 3,000
I would seriously advertise this set up, lots of guys are looking for it.
So... Obviously he is biased and knows the effort and time put into this to make it work.
I am not expecting 3000.00 but if your interested throw me an offer.
THE REASON I WANT IT GONE
This is a set up for someone like the gentlemen who built it. Wanted to go straight beast mode,
I am planning on making a comfortable street drivable prerunner, and Id rather spread the money from this into suspension, things like that.
Id like a ride WITH a/c and better mileage for deep Mexico trips, not needing or worrying about octane things like that.
This custom pulley that he speaks about above, uses the a/c compressor motor mount to sit on therefor NO A/c with this set up.
Most guys won't mind but id like to go this direction.
AND honestly I don't need the extra power.
I know its hard to even write that but the only place where I have noticed I need the power and the gauge is actually in the BOOST is in the deep sand dunes.
Going up OLDs in Glamis or drag racing.
Im thinking more hardback Baja and not really ever in a hurry.
And I cruise on the street mostly so yeah
I have other areas where I am going to spend the money and these are things id be willing to possibly trade for:
Bucket Seats
Rear Glass
Bump stops Hydraulic
Shocks
Coilovers
engine cages
Swing Steering
Basically let me know if you have anything
Trade plus cash?
This is a unique kit and is really a head turner when it whines up.

Re: SVT Super Charger, injectors and Kit
Thanks
I suppose this kit would fit a mustang group as well?
Prob more for them.

This sounds awfully familiar to my buddy's Bronco, Traver from Valley Center. If so.. that set-up was badass, massive amount of torque too bad you're selling it.
