Built 8.8

Post by Tchajagos »

I have a built 8.8 for sale. Decided To go another route. Came out of a 95 bronco. Has 4.56 gears and a Detroit locker. Also has a mag-hytec diff cover which has a little dipstick out the top. 5/8” wheels studs and a truss under the bottom and limit strap tabs off the back. The perches have been re-welded to eliminate the wedge blocks. It has maybe 400 miles on new gears/locker/rebuild. Everything is in great condition. Bolt it in, bleed the brakes, and drive off into the desert. Looking to get $1100.
Just a regear and a locker are more than that. Located in riverside. Text me (951)452-4050.

Sorry I don't text buddy. If this was 4.11 it may be in my hands already. Did you fab the truss and degree the pads?

Bump. If you can’t use 5/8” studs you can always swap out your inner axles and keep the 5/8” stud axles for when you move up to the larger wheel studs.

I also might have a set of 1/2” stud axles I can throw into the housing instead of the 5/8” studs.

Turns out this rear axle was fabricated by southwest. A bronco just came in that was built by southwest and it has the exact same truss and traction bar tabs.
