Steering Box Weld-on Reinforcement Plate

Post by VintageIronFab »

Hello All,
I made one of these for another GFB member and have 6 of these to sell for $60 shipped. Holes are drilled to a 7/16" size to match the bolt size; a 1/2" hole would prob aid ease in installation of the box but the 7/16" keeps everything very tight. The pic is to illustrate that my part actually fits like designed without having to rework the part.

Looks cool Matt. I plated the frame and did weld-on washers. That plate would have saved time.

What's the plate thickness? What's the correct stud length(s)?

Plate is 3/16" thick- bolts are 7/16" but I'm not sure the length.
