Flight industries fabricated knuckles and brakes
Just since some of you aren't on Instagram. Here's a quick breakdown of a part of what I do and some of the parts I offer as well as non production machine work.
Flight industries offers fabricated knuckle and brake packages in 13 snout configurations in the d44 knuckle platform in both 2wd and 4wd configurations. 100% OEM knuckle geometry is maintained, so scrub radius is uneffected. So no need for different offset wheels or any non stock alignment parts or processes. These are designed to be a bolt on OEM style upgrade.
Kit prices range on options but generally are between 1500$ and 1800$ Include assembly, hardware, caliper brackets and balljoint installation. The overall goal of the Flight industries automotive products is to offer race car quality parts at affordable prices.
Options include:
Snout bolt circle
5/8's wheel studs
Stock or 13" rotors
Snout modifications
4 piston or 6 piston wilwood calipers
Duralast, raybestos, or Moog balljoints
13" Drilled and slotted or smooth rotors
The 3 main objectives of the parts are to offer more diverse and drastically improved braking options and additional strength over the stock OEM knuckles.
The knuckles have been strength tested for hundreds of hours under a 5500lb bronco on 39" diameter BFG's with zero failures. The braking performance improvement are night and day vs stock but can be used perfectly with the Ford OEM master cylinder. That said for the mall crawlers ABS compatible versions can be custom ordered upon request but stock rotors must be retained. Lead times on packages are normally 3-4 weeks and no deposit is required.
Here are a few photos of both 2wd and 4wd knuckles that are d44 beam compatitable. For ordering info, current lead times, and option specifics please feel free to inquire via Private message in the gofastbroncos forum mail box.
We also offer solid body mount sets for Broncos and f150 extended cabs.
