Reposting pics since I switched off of Photobucket:

These kits have been a few months in the making, but I finally have the right combination of bulbs to be able to offer an interior/exterior LED retrofit kit for the 1992 -1996 Broncos and F-150's.

Here's a sampling of some before and after pics so you can get an idea of the difference between the OEM halogen bulbs and the new LED bulbs.

Side marker light with LED (matches Baja HID headlights much better than the halogen), or I can do amber LED bulbs for a more OEM appearance:

After a bunch of different tries, I finally got the gauge cluster lighting figured out. The gauge illumination bulbs are a bit temperamental and the LED bulbs tend to throw things off a little bit, so I've decided to limit the retrofit to just the gauge illumination only.

When you start swapping out the halogen bulbs for the warning lights, turn signals, etc... it causes intermittent issues like turn signals not working, battery warning lights not going off when you start the engine, etc... Plus, the difference between halogen and LED behind the warning lights really was not all that pronounced. When you add in the fact that the LED bulbs required for this are a more complicated (and more expensive bulb), it makes more sense to limit the kit to just the 7 illumination bulbs, rather than the almost 20 bulbs that are behind the gauges & AC controls.

Here's a pic of the gauge cluster with the LED bulbs installed:

And the AC controls with the LED bulbs installed:

To make ordering a little easier, I don't need pics of your rear dome light, and all I need is to know if you have one of these 2 dome light style:

Style A:

Image

Style B:

Interior:

Dome light(s) - includes bulbs for both dome lights if you have a Bronco. Please email me a pic of your dome light so I can ensure you get the right bulb.

Exterior:

Side marker lights
Under hood light
License plate lights
Reverse lights

Gauges/AC Controls:

5 Gauge cluster illumination bulbs
2 AC Control illumination bulbs

You'll notice that I've left out the amber side marker and amber turn signal lights. This was on purpose because with the LED lights, it was difficult to retain the correct amber/orange color, so I've left these out of the kits in favor of the OEM halogen bulbs.

Pricing for the kits is as follows:

Interior kit: $25 shipped anywhere in the US.

Exterior kit: $35 shipped anywhere in the US.

Both interior and exterior kit: $50 shipped anywhere in the US.

Gauge/AC control kit: $20 shipped anywhere in the US.

Interior kit + gauge AC control kit: $45 shipped anywhere in the US.

Exterior kit + gauge AC control kit: $55 shipped anywhere in the US.

Interior kit + exterior kit + gauge AC control kit: $70 shipped anywhere in the US.

Each kit will come with the bulbs separated into little baggies with a label that specifies the location on the vehicle. Just unplug your old halogens, plug these LED's in, and you are ready to rock!

PM me with questions, I'm happy to help!

I don't. Unless you're replacing the OEM housing/lens, adding LED bulbs behind that lens don't really make any difference. I can sell you the bulbs if you really want, but I was not impressed with the results.

I did the swap a while ago (thanks again, nubreed71!) and have been quite happy with it. I have dome light style A.
The dome light LED eventually failed on me -- within the one bulb, some of the individual LEDs went dark, and others started flickering which caused all the other lights in the cab to flicker along with it...yay

Probably just unlucky, but I wasn't thrilled by the concentrated daylight white LED anyway, so I replaced the dome light with this paddle-style LED. It just barely fits, and casts a very nice, warm white light. The spread of the LEDs softens the light so shadows aren't as harsh. They seem to have a daylight white version as well, but I haven't tried it.

Hi - anyone has found the 92-96 tail light retrofitted completely to LED (not just a change halogen bulb for a LED one) on sale? Something similar to this (Ranger example):

The bulb types may be completely different...I haven't had the chance to pull apart the bulbs on an 87 - 91 to check, so anything I send may not work as labeled. I can build a kit for you if you're willing to pull each bulb and email me labeled pics for each bulb you want to replace.

For the style B dome light, is it ok to just re-use the two mounting screws that are there, and the two wires from the rectangle style OE dome light?

Also, i'm interested in the interior LED kit, does it come in a warm white? The daylight white is almost too modern/blue for me lol.

I have an eddie bauer with the overhead console. I swapped in the guts of an exploder overhead console, so the bulbs are different i think. This picture shows the exploder console on the right, and my bronco console with exploder guts on the left; not sure if that helps. Do you know possibly what type bulbs these are?

I can definitely do warm white...that's actually what I did on my rig as well for the same exact reasons. I've got warm white bulbs in stock if you want me to put together an interior kit. Not sure I can tell what bulbs you need for the explorer overhead console, but if you shoot me over some pics of the current bulbs along with a couple measurements, I can prolly figure out what you need.
