Hmmm, not that I know of. I ran a set of Tony's LED taillights on my '94 for years and never had a problem.

whats the difference between the plastic dome vs the metal dome ?

One's made out of metal, and one is made out of plastic. Sorry...had to do it.

They each use different types of bulbs, so that's why I have different kits for each dome type.

lol.....gotcha i was thinking it was a different style led bulb itself not the difference style of dome light
