Iceberg Motorsports Ready to Sink the Competition at the San Felipe Desert Mayhem 150

January 16, 2018
Scottsdale, AZ

Two of off road racing's premier media personalities, Mateo Kartozian of Durka Durka Photo and Arturo Eugenio of Get Some Photo are coming together to form a new Superteam for the San Felipe Desert Mayhem 150 on January 27th, 2018.

After years of working in the desert photographing racecars the Dynamic Range Duo will put down their cameras and put on firesuits to race the Class 8 Ford Bronco known to race fans worldwide as The Goonwagon.
The Goonwagon, the beloved and most popular off road race truck in history is known for its speed and reliability and is expected to propel the team to the top step of the podium after the dust settles and the checkers wave.

The Volkswagon powered Bronco was built and prepared by Finishline Racing in Peoria, AZ, the team has been busy testing the rocketship disguised as a truck leading up to the race. "We went to San Felipe to test in the whoops last weekend" said Kartozian. "After some shock tuning with Kritter of Shockseals.com on the San Felipe Dune, we were able to run the whoops to Zoo Road at 121 mph. With that kind of speed this Iceberg is ready to sink our Titanic competition."

The imposing Goonwagon is expected to overall the race, so some might ask why the Iceberg Motorsports Superteam entered Class 8, instead of Trophy Truck. "Class 8 trucks are known to be slow" said Eugenio. "If a catastrophe strikes and we break a $2 bolt, have to pull over to piss, or stop for tacos or beer we can still win Class 8."

The Iceberg Motorsports team will be using The CheezePitz Pit Service, headed by San Felipe local, and used motorcycle dealer Jere Hooper.

Photo looks like photoshop, but assuming that's just advertising and that this may be for real.
