2010 Pismo Huckfest

Post by SteveG »

Well overall it was pretty lame which is what I expected. A lot of built trucks on the sand but only a very small handful jumping (Not that I can talk since I was only putting around). The only reason I went was to watch Dan Vance jump as he was sure to put on a good show. It turns out he bent a shock shaft in the morning and was done before the contest started.

I got a few decent pictures.

Steve, Jacob really digs those pics, and wanted me to give you kudos from him.

Thanks! I wish I had gone to that spot earlier. It was pretty much over by the time I made it to that side. There were about 5 trucks that were really airing it out and putting on a good show.

You love lawn darts don't you? I think you have nightmares of that video over and over again. Big air for a crew cab!!!

Dan is an animal and an excellent showman. I was bummed I didn't get to see him jump.

I should probably give more credit as it is due. The DR crew put on a good event. They kept the Park Rangers happy and attracted some good trucks. I hope in continues and brings more big dogs in the future.
