Baja 500 2010

Post by tcm glx »

So had one of the most EPIC trips this time out to Baja....

Was very fortunate enough to have several things line up... first and foremost, my brother bought an FSB and he tasked me with getting in ready and running for the 500, I got to be a part of the Collins/Herbst trophy truck pit support, and as usual, spending a few days in Baja just made it all the absolute best!

I am beat, so will save the stories for later, here are some photos:
My brother got me a very unique little gift, made some stickers for all the prep work I did on his rig:

Chris, my brother, Steve and myself... and yes, we actually worked on cleaning and making sure the TT was ready to rock n roll:

Awesome trip as always but definitely made better by hanging out with the Collins and Herbst teams. Thanks for the invite Rory, very cool to see how the big dogs do it.

I'll post up some of my pictures later.

Great pix, thanks for sharing!

Did Vic get a new muffler? Did you check to see that there wasn't any "special" packing in there?

Getting rid of the factory suit case... gotta love mexico, the guy charged us $13 to get rid of it, and add a support brace for the exhaust without it...

I figured you'd like that Tony. I snapped it when I was up top taking the antenna down. I was hoping Chrs and Tio would turn around but they didn't before I had to get back down and back to cleaning up.

The trip was awesome and my new ride kicks butt. Thanks to Chris and Tony for bugging me to sell my FJ Cruiser and to Tony for setting it up. It is much more comfy and roomier than my previous rig and she is a looker. Man, everyone loves the FSBs. :D
