First drop of the week. Dale ready to rock at Ojos.

Some great machaca burritos here at San Matias.

Voss seemed to have a couple of bad prerun days in the protruck. Note the front wheel.

Wow! Is all I can say about Erendira. I had not seen pictures of the devastation and was completely shocked when we arrived Wednesday morning. In fact, i didn't even recognize where I was until I saw the road over the hill where I watched the race in '07.

The new line. Tony heading up the hill to prerun back to Ojos.

AGM. They sound good!

Recognize this? Friday during contingency.

Prepn' the race bike. I was shop bitch all week, so I spent some time cleaning the bike and sticking all of the decals on it.

I thought 74 was Jeffries old truck, but it appears even they have gone to a linked rear. Does Jeffries actually build these?

Stealth Bronco. Didn't have time for a good look, but this one appeared to have some good parts under it.
Image

Dale coming around the first turn. I gave him shiz for going so slow. He was over compensating for his 1st turn debacle in '09. Haha!
Image

Look closely. See the line of cars around the bend? We sat in line for 2 1/2hrs to get past the military checkpoint. Thanks to a little ingenuity, we made it to the rider change at RM102 within 2min of Dale's arrival.

Check out the little Asian umbrella girl. Haha! Wait, where are we?!

Rider change at Baja Pits, just before the Mike's turn off.

Paul was barely hanging on after the ride over the summit with 10 miles of whoops leaving Borrego. There was a lot of carnage in this leg of the race.

What a crowd. This is on highway 3 where the course comes out from Uruapan.
