Mojave trail!

Post by BabyJake »

My girl friend and I recently took the famous Mojave trail all alone in the 88 bronco. We drove from San Diego to laughlin and stayed the night in the Tropicana. Friday morning we started the trail and finally finished Sunday just out side of baker. Then drove the long boring 15 freeway all the way back to San Diego. My girlfriend did a pretty good write up of the three day adventure. Hope you guys enjoy, and feel free to ask any questions about the trip! At the bottom of each page is a link to the next day.

Looks like a blast! How much gas did you bring on this trip? ( just dirt run) I feel like my truck is such a gas hog that I would need two tanks to do this run haha
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough!

Anton canyon campground is where I stayed when I did the run. It's between Barstow and baker. We ran that way to Laughlin on day one and the other way on day two. Cool run.

I brought two 5 gallon cans along with leaving Laughlin with a full tank. We used every drop.
