Thanks! Yes indeed--it's always a blast in Baja! Just made it into San Jose del Cabo...the place is nice as always but it just ain't the same without all the fantastic racing folks!

Know anything on #15? The IRC tracker is not telling a whole lot of stories...

15 truck, 2nd in class first day . Transmission problems day 2 at mile 60. Broken pump gear. Rebuilt over night in Loreto and at mile 3 suspect broke same part in trans. I don't know what they are doing for tomorrow. With that group of guys I wouldn't be surprised to see it show back up on the tracker heading south of La Paz in the morning. I hope so and wish them luck.

Thanks for the update! #15 is listed as a DNF on the NORRA website this morning--along with many, many other vehicles. I don't recall there being that many DNF's last year...but then they say the memory is the first thing that goes. :D Think the course is more difficult than last year?

Either way, I always admire the heart that everyone puts into repair and getting back into the race, especially #15's guys. They'll never lose for lack of trying...true Baja spirit!

Really been fun hanging out with such a group of fun-loving, kind, dedicated folks!

Got another update this morning. #15 and crew keeping it on the trailer today but continuing to follow the race to Cabo. BajaF250 joining them since their #33 ride is also out. I think the course is definitely difficult this year having recently driven some of those sections. They reported getting stuck a few times on the first day.

One of many of the cool elements of NORRA is you can miss stages or even whole day and jump back in the race the next day after making repairs. Will be penalized of course, but atleast still racing.
Couldn't have a better Tranny guy than Don Moss on your team, and here's hoping he can work some magic!

The green #67 Class 11 in the pictures posted was built by the Vilodosolas Crew and Tavo and Dad help out with driving and chasing. Very cool to see a TT team humbly remember the roots of baja racing!

Thanks for the pics and stories, makes it suck less not being there...haha!

Kind of confusing having two threads of the same title posted by different people. One can be accessed only through active topics, and the other through board index. But Yikes thread doesn't show up at the same time as Bukins even though they are supposed to be in same folder.

One is pre race, to see who is going/racing. This one is post race to see who crashed/broke down, and how many tacos were consumed.
