We all do. My truck used to be a lot smoother in the rough but I'm too lazy to pull the shocks... one these days.

Great trip. I played pretty damn hard every time we went out. Even with one bum shock and limited wheel travel on the right front wheel due to a previously mangled lower shock mount, the Bronco performed well. I smashed into a few things pretty hard (including the front side of a whoop after a jump) and it took it in stride... no phasing it! I did massage the front fenders a bit more, but that's expected on huge hits.

The jump by the sh*tters was hands down my favorite. Especially the fist time I hit it (when only John was around). My brother joked that the guys stopped for a bathroom break probably never imagined their best viewing would be at the poopers!

Unfortunately, my RC car enjoyment was short-lived... smoked a motor and speed controller.

Thanks to all for a great time. KILLER food and damn good company. The campfire BS'ing is the best!

I've been trying to get to Barstow when King has a tuning day for a while now.

Maybe I can add a rider to my policy with Philosurance to include free shock tuning once a year. I mean if the truck handles better its therefore safer which in turn reduces the chance of damage needing to be repaired thus saving you money in the long run. Seems like good business to me. Oh, by the way we missed you this time.

Even with my poorly valved shocks I still had a blast again this year guys. It was good to see my old friends and some new ones too. Dinner was great thanks to everyone pitching in with sides and dessert. Especially Roberts coffee each morning and Stacie's brownies which were incredible. Steve has once again managed to not burn the beans extending his streak to three years running, in fact, they were better than ever as were the burritos Sunday. Thanks to you and your brother for your efforts.

I have to say I was very surprised when I was awarded the King trophy guys. It really blew me away. Oh wait that was the tequila never mind.

Seriously thanks to all those involved it made me smile.

As for this years big jump winner we'll have to wait for our judge to make his final decision. Stay tuned.

I wished I could have gone but I had to do the BITD race. I know this guy named Steve up in your area that's pretty good inside a shock...

Awesome pictures Ollie! You even got one of the RC car! Wish my Bronco was that fast.

...sure miss that red Bronco in the group shot. We need some more color in there.

By the way, we should have found that jump again. Would have been some serious air this time.

What incredible weather! It was great to see everyone again and share some laughs. It was also great to see all those R/C's out there tearing it up! Thanks for including me again on this trip. My only carnage was broken passenger side ball joint - stupid ABS left me helplessly speeding over a drop bathing me in sand. It was worth it though. Glad everyone made it back safely and had great health!

Looks like a lot of fun. I have never made it out to Pismo. Maybe some day when I have enough down time from work I can get out there.
