supertoys adventures short course (central oregon)

Post by bajascott »

i had the oppritunity to go and set up a booth at the inagural STAR series this past weekend to tlak to people about what CODRA is doing for desert racing here in oregon. it was myself ,my youngest girl, Kevin , Tom,Jaime,Ed,and Devin.
i went there to support the Dirt Alliance as well, selling shirts and DVD'S. we met a ton of great people and i was amazed at the turn out of spectators on sunday it was pretty much sold out.
Randy Shoaff of Metal Werks Customs was there as the race marshall with is master piece in metal TT prerunner as the pace car, Tubeshark was there with thier crew ,TL racing had their linked bronco and ran it inbetween qualifying and was awsome to watch sat.
Rob Bruce with TT74 BMF racing came out ,Troy Vest with his Pro truck, TL racing and thier 12 car. and a bunch of others.
Vest pretty much swept the competition but the BMF truck put on one helluva show. the jeep things that came out had more motor than jeep and were a blast to watch diceing with Troy and Rob. those guys were comletly insane trying to run wheel to wheel with the ProtucK and Trophy Truck!!
TL racing shear a stub axle and were out late in the race but they were running in there with the trucks.
i want to thank Russ Walkup and his crew for putting on a great event and letting us from codra come and mooch some publicity.we will be back!!
and after watching Tony take his bronco out there,......well.........there might just end up being another one up some time this season to give him a race! HA all i need is fuel cell ,some window nets a little bit of time in the garage.
it looked FUNFUNFUN

Sweet!!!!! Lovin' the Bronco shots. Who's driving the #74? That's a well built truck. Was checking it out at the 500 or 1000 last year.

Hopefully they lost the "bro" portion of the old partnership and are taking it in a better direction this time.

He was not taking it easy in that truck. Went to hot into the corners multiple times and lost some fiberglass, and finally the transmission, which had only reverse at the end.
