What did you guys end up doing with the trans? It should have been ok after cooling down. I overheated 4 quarts out of the crew cab trans on the way to Palm Springs two years ago and it's still working.

I just got back at about 8:15 PM or so.

It was a good time aside from my little run in with the damned CHP

Tranny was toast. Truck is in Mexicali getting some love. I'll let Tony or Vic report on that though.

Great ppics steve, I still have to load mine.

As for vics truck, we pushed him to make lemonade out of lemons, so he is redoing the tranny, adding a cooler, and doing gears while its at the shop. Might as well.

Btw, anyone have a link on how I can put video together, I have about 10 or so good ones from the trophys.

I think the TC was gone already... it is what it is!! We got it to a great mechanic of ours in Mexicali, he will have it for two weeks doing some of the work on it.

As Tony mentioned, my tranny went bye bye. The good, the mechanic we know in Mexicali kicks butt. If all goes well, the plan is as follows......

- Tranny rebuild
- New torque converter
- LSD rebuild
- Tranny cooler (install a bigger one)
- New motor mounts
- Power steering pump rebuild
- Radiator flush plus new thermostat
- Wet sand the paint so she looks like princess
- The gravy, decided to do the gears and headers...what the hell.

She will be like new.

Thanks to Andy, Chris, and Tony for putting up with me as a copilot.
