Forgive me for being stupid an all, but what was wrong with the other "Ol' Baja"? As I recall from the last trip it went just fine.

Right.... Rod, the first cab and chassis did not have a cage. If I was to put a cage in the first truck it would have been down way too long. I bought a second Cab and Chassis so Autofab could build the cage in the second cab and chassis and at the same time I could still play in the truck and have fun. Doing it this way also allowed me to Powder coat the frame and paint the truck. So, at this point I'm transferring all the old parts over to the new cab with cage and I'll end up with a race legal old school truck. Just one more thing to point out the first c&ch was a 1978 (Smog required) The new c&ch is a 1974 (No smog required) I don't know if that helps, now I'm confused.

The dash is going in.

The dash is not fiber it's steel that's been dipped to look carbon fiber.

The truth is, I'm lucky to still have it , two girls in collage, closed up my business, wife and family that just don't understand.

Well the plan is to have stock Ford door panels, and carpet over the material (low pile industrial).
It still has the stock dash so..... some place in between a prerunner and a race truck.
