That is so sweet! I'm jealous! I love cold Wintery days working in the garage. It looks like you've made some good progress. What's the status?

Slow and steady on the bronco. Doing a bunch of little work not worth showing...

Also been busy working on a winch bumper for the chasetruck.

That one is a mix of .250, .188, and .125. I won't build one like that again, next one will be all .188 thick. I am really happy with the way it is turning out. It is designed to use a Warn 16.5 Ti winch. If people are interested I can make a build thread for it.

Sure - make a build thread. As I said I will be making some bumpers like this in the future so I like seeing what others have done.

Did you design it on solidworks or similar or old school style with cardboard templates? While I would love to do mine in soliworks so I can send it out for bending my student edition of soliworks expired before I even really figured out the program so I will be using the cardboard method...

Solidworks off of Ford chassis files....Cardboard works just as well, just easier to design at the computer on lunch!

Figured as much.

If I had solidworks I'd be practicing on it since I don't know it well at all. Plus I sit here at the computer all day and could mix/sneak it in with work - haha.

Eric,

I totally dig that zombie killer bumper. Way cool.

By the way, any headway on the aluminum half top for the race bronco?

Pulled the glass out and started drawing the top based off the glass and the measurements off the truck. Nothing yet but drawings on a computer. Hopefully with in the next month or two I'll get around to cutting it out and begin putting it together.

Thanks for the bumper comments.

Agreed! Tires out the back look way cool and probably nice to have some weight back there too. Still going to run Class 3 Eric?
