This is kind of random, but there have been a few times when I've wanted to build a nice work table I couldn't find a good piece of wood for the top. I broke apart an old desk we had in our garage and threw everything away except for the top. It's 60"x30" and about 1.25" thick. It's pressed board with about 1/4" thick veneer... very heavy, very sturdy.
I'd hate to throw this away... someone out there has to need table top.
