Sorry for the delayed reply guys - I step away from the glowing box for the weekend.

If someone else is already making these I'm not sure I need to.

When Willie originally grabbed this one from Nick I asked him if I could copy it. At that time I was doing it for my own personal use and then I would also offer them up to other GFBers if it worked for me and if there was desire. My plan was just to take measurements of the thing & draw it in cad. Then send it out to a laser cutter (probably in aluminum, possibly in steel). I did not have any plan for caps on the back of the switches or anything as I didn't care.

This same thing is all I would be doing now. After seeing this other guy machines them I'm wondering if there is some specific fitment reason for that??? I haven't seen on of these in person yet so I'm not sure. My guess is with the tolerance of a laser cut we should be fine for fitment as long as I knew what the cut thickness of the laser is. I'm pretty sure the CC buttons are just a pressure tab, click in deal if I remember right = easy to fit.

Also I have no idea of what cost would be to cut these. It's been forever since I've sent something out to laser & even when I was doing it regularly I was using a GFBer for cutting and got a deal on rates. He's no longer in the business so we'd have to find someone else.

I did not forget...you

Steve had this part handled.

it was the making the part piece, that I was not ready to spend the money on. I was not trying to make money, but the price point was high after made. I was not sure people would want to pay.

Did a loop this past Friday and showed CS_drums the truck....... got to see a few race cars testing and then had some fun.

House to
Placer City took the dirt to
Ocotillo wells then ran around for a few hours and ended at ranger station then highway to
Julian then home

it was a good combo of Dirt and road driving.

I was impressed that this truck temps stayed low in the heat, AC pumping and wash stuff we ran. ..... I was ready to change a bunch of stuff to keep it cool. We will see if it is needed.
